Tentsite at a Seasonal Stream, Mile 1665.2 to Wrangle Gap Dirt Roads, Mile 1695.6

30.4 Miles

Today’s post is short, but oh so very sweet.

It was not an easy day today. I had to work late into the night to get in the miles I wanted. I was distracted and could not find my rhythm. I was like an old car spitting and sputtering down the trail. It just was a bad hiking day.

However, today came with a huge reward, a gigantic accomplishment, and with that an intensified hope. Today is the day I completely hiked myself across the entire State of California all on my own two feet.

I am now in Oregon!

See you soon Canada!
